This dress has been worn once for my wedding and has been altered in the shoulders to better fit my petite frame and at the bottom. I'm 5'2" but was wearing 4" heels, so it should be perfect for someone 5'6" or shorter. I also had alterations to close up the deep V-neck a bit, but this could be easily brought out again.
